Tsyos Tython
Combat
Venom spray. Opening his jaws wide, Tysos sprays two streams of caustic fluid from a pair of fangs. This poison irritates skin, causing rashes, and can blind if applied to the eye. Ingesting this liquid in small quantities causes food-poisoning-like symptoms. In larger doses, it breaks down internal organs, causing death.
Prestidigitation. Waving a hand, Tysos is able to create a minor magical trick effect. This includes, producing a small, harmless sensory effect, such as a puff of smoke, the smell of oranges, or musical chime; snuffing or lighting a candle; stripping the dirt from a small object; warming or cooling a small, non-living object; a handheld illusory effect in the palm.
Sleep. Widening their eyes and flaring their hood, a haunting hiss fills the air before their purple eyes flash. Those whose eyes fall on the glowing irises of the serpent find themselves grow weary and tired. Depending on how well rested the victim is, it may either put the target to sleep, or leave them feeling in need of rest.
Heroics. Placing their hands on another, they can imbue temporary vitality into a person, increasing their endurance, agility, and strength for ten minutes after contact is broken, or up to an hour while contact persists.
Suggestions. Making eye contact with a person, the pupils and irises invert, leaving black eyes with violet slits in the middle. Voicing a simple and not obviously harmful request, the snake will attempt to crush their willpower or wisdom beneath his charm, attempting to magically entrance a person into fulfilling the request.
Martial Ability.
Tsyos owns an ornately crafted longsword with an oscillating blade fashioned after a snake, though remains too weak to wield it effectively. His attacks with this weapon tend to be clumsy, and he prefers not using it at all.

Appearance: Bearing metallic green scales running from his hood, down his back, before breaking into softer tan-green flesh, Tsyos wears his serpentine heritage with pride. His slit, purple eyes serve a mesmerising gaze, joined by a pair of nose holes over a lipless maw. Just above his sternum, a mark, seemingly etched into his scales stands in stark black.
Origin & Background: Originating from the jungles to the west, Tysos's serpentine kind lived in secluded temples of stone where they worshipped and coveted gods in equal measure. With a society oriented around apotheosis, and a bloodline corrupted by a serpentine deity in the promise of ascension through the scales, the Yuan Ti became a ruthless, cold, and cunning kind.
Those most closely resembling their snake gods where held highest, forming dynasties where they might pursue raising a purer generation through eugenics and ritual. Tsyos was to be one such child, however upon his birth it became evident that his undesirable genes had run dominant.
Cast out during his teenage years for proving to be of little use to his family, he took with him the sword he was never strong enough to wield, and what few scholar's tools he could snatch.
Committing to winning the throne of apotheosis himself, he sought to prove himself to his estranged family, vowing one day they would worship and covet his position instead of the opposite.
He makes his way through the world using people he sees as lesser with not a hint of empathy, masquerading beneath charm and guile to fulfil his desires.
